Nimrod's site redesign
.png)
Created as a part of my studies at Netcraft Academy
Role: Benchmark, UX/UI
Problem
Nimrod is one of the most expensive and high quality children shoes shops in Israel. However, there are lot's of problems in their website: the brand is not expressed, the site is not user friendly and barely serves user simple needs, not speaking of pleasant user experience.
Challenge
To bring "Nimrod" to the level of its competitors, by making the experience of buying children shoes on their site, an easy, fun and effective experience.

Benchmark
I studied Nimrod's site, and the sites of three potential competitors. I made a comparison of different aspects of Nimrod's site with the sites of the competitors and organized them into a table.

Conclusion
Choosing children's shoes online is not easy.
The user has to understand the different qualities of the brand, in order to choose correctly. Then, they need to be directed to make the purchase in a few easy steps. And at this stage, once they trust the process, to complete their order.

2
Nimrod's users don't have a fun and easy experience when using the site to choose and buy their shoes. It hurts sales and drives users away from the site.
The site does not represent the brand, therefore, the user doesn't understand the uniqueness of Nimrod's shoes unless they visit the physical store.
Solution
Main Navigation
I set up the navigation due to clear hierarchey.
Homepage
I rearranged the homepage.
The main banner The main banner affects the user emotionally upon entering the site.
Just under the banner, are the delivery and site policy.
The shoes models, The shoe models are the next thing the user will see, unlike the original site where the shoes were shown almost last on the page.
3 main shoe categories were added for easier navigation.I removed overwhelming advertising elements and added help and information buttons.
Gallery Page
I arranged the information about each model in a way thats clear and easy to read.
Product Page
The "Buy" button was made the most noticeable element on the page, after the shoe itself. The shoe gallery was made clear and minimalistic.
Subtracted the additional items carousel.
The information about the shoe was arranged in clear and orderly.
Footer
Clear hierarchy, noticeable icons.
Logo and Color Palette
Though we were not supposed to touch it,
I couldn't ignore it. I wanted to express the brands' qualities through the logo and color scheme also adding sophistication and softness.
